The Essential Asset Class
Investing is no easy task, and it is made more complicated when people do not have the time availability or technical knowledge to make the investment decisions they need to make. And there is no more difficult time to make investment decisions as the present. While so many people are being frightened away from investing in unpopular investment (like bond funds for starters), it is important to remember what one’s true risk tolerance is and how that risk tolerance has molded one’s asset allocation model. Sticking to that model is the easiest way to do it because every asset class becomes an essential one, rather than a popular or unpopular one.
